I'm a seasoned, multi-chartered Project Manager with over 45 years of experience in construction design & management, logistics, transport, and supply chain operations. While project management is my primary focus, I bring deep technical expertise and a wealth of professional qualifications in health & safety, quality, environment, and fire safety, ensuring compliance and excellence across projects.
My career has evolved from roles as a building control/standards officer for multiple Scottish local authorities to senior project management positions, overseeing large-scale construction initiatives. A key contributor to Shetland’s energy projects - including ventures in oil & gas and renewable energy - I take a results-driven approach, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while minimising environmental impact and disruption to local communities.
Beyond project management, I support Shetland's new build housing sector with on completion air tightness and sound insulation testing, as well as professional consultants' certification (PCC).
